Kocian's grandma
One morning Kocian woke up and saw that the postman brought him a mail. Kocian tore the envelope open and read:
"My dear grandchild! I'm Grandma, and I write to you to let you know that I'm coming to visit you the day after tomorrow. I hope this letter reaches you before that. Until then, take care! P.S. I'll bring a surprise, too."
After Kocian read the letter, he immediately ran to his friends, who were just then testing Hocus' new magic potion with little success. Namely Tiny was vomiting frogs because of Hocus' hocus-pocus, while the others were standing by watching, and in any way trying to help Tiny. Cerbi, for example, was collecting the frogs into a bucket, Splash was murmuring: "She deserved it", while Scarlet and Serena held Tiny and tried to calm her down, but Tiny just couldn't stop spitting out frogs from her mouth.
When Kocian arrived and read the letter aloud, there was silence and Tiny finally stopped vomiting frogs (which she didn't do on purpose). After hearing the letter, Serena said:
"Well, then let's start cleaning up!"
"Yes, let's tidy up the kingdom, but mostly your house, Kocian", Cerbi said.
"I don't care if your Grandma comes, Kocian, leave me out of the work", Splash grumbled.
"Don't be so rude, Splash, the Grandma will surely bring a lot of news with her, which will make us laugh, think and wonder", Scarlet added.
"Don't bother with the work, I'll clean whole Cerbengocia up with a swish", Hocus suggested.
"I don't think this is a good idea", Tiny interjected.
"Let's just say we'll only clean up the places we take the grandma to", Kocian said.
"Then just lock her up in your room and don't take her anywhere", Splash grumbled.
"Be quiet Splash! And when do we begin?" Cerbi asked.
"We can begin now", Serena answered.
"Let's begin, then!" Tiny said.
That day, they cleaned up the places where they wanted to take Grandma to. They got so tired that they slept all through the night as well as the next day. The third day they woke up hearing the stamping of horseshoes and the noise of cartwheels, for Kocian's Grandma arrived. Kocian quickly jumped out of bed still half asleep and ran outside to welcome his Grandma, who seemed cheerful and had a huge basket in her hand.
"Hello Grandma!" Kocian said.
"Hello darling, it's so nice to see you again", his Grandma greeted him, while giving him the basket. Kocian looked into it and stood there gaping when he saw that what was inside the basket was none other than his favorite treat: Cerbona bars.
"O, Grandma, you shouldn't have, thank you", said Kocian gratefully.
"You're welcome Kocian, this is for you and the others - then the others appeared. They greeted the Grandma and saw her to a tour around the kingdom. Grandma enjoyed herself all along: she gossiped with Scarlet, she saw Cerbi's great power, she could hear Serena sing wonderfully, she could laugh at Tiny's jokes and she could even taste Hocus' magic potions.
At the end of the day, the cart was there again to pick Grandma up and take her home, so the time came to say goodbye.
"We were so happy to have you here, Grandma", Kocian said.
"Yes, we're very happy and thank you for the gift", Cerbi said.
"And you're going to visit us again, aren't you, with some Cerbona surprises?" Serena asked.
"By all means", Grandma answered.
And then, the cart departed and everyone waved to her.
This is how Grandma's visit ended.
