Cerbi and the Honey Bear

It so happened that in Cerbengocia, there was a competition in the forest among the animals of the kingdom. The idea was Kocian's, and he trusted the implementation to the secretary-general of the court, Scarlet. Scarlet went into the forest and pinned the following poster onto the trunk of the Big Oak Tree of Cerbengocia:

Attention, animals of Cerbengocia! At the next full moon, there will be a forest competition: we are looking for the strongest and the most skilful animal of Cerbengocia.

Everyone in the forest started to talk about the competition soon, and all the animals prepared for it. They knew that they had to compete in both strength and brains with none other than Cerbi, the rash and strong dragon-to-be. Whoever wins will be the honorary animal of Cerbengocia. There was only one animal in the whole kingdom, who got more and more sad and gloomy as the big day was approaching. He was Honey Bear.

One day during her regular walk, Serena saw Honey Bear downcast at the stem of the Big Oak Tree. She asked him:

"Why are you so sad, Honey Bear?"

"Oh, Serena. All my honey and raspberry stock is gone, I ran out of energy to enter the competition, however I would like to. Tell me what I could do!"

"Now, now, Bear, you have nothing to worry about, come with me and I'll give you some delicious treat that will help you to get in shape!"

So they went to Serena's and she gave Honey Bear loads of cranberry muesli with lots of milk. From then on, Honey Bear ate this every day and his strength began to revive.

The day of the competition arrived. They competed in everything: trunk rolling, weightlifting, forest chess, butterfly catching and hiding. All the animals enjoyed the challenge and they couldn't wait to see the results.

And behold, the winner was Honey Bear, who became stronger thanks to the cranberry muesli. He was very happy that he won, so he asked that all the animals become Cerbengocia's honorary animals. His wish came true. Since then, they live happily and in peace, and they hold the animal olympics every year, to everybody's pleasure.
