Cerbi Picks Flowers

On a beautiful sunshiny morning, Cerbi woke up and after breakfast he decided to go out to the field and pick some flowers. So he left his house, and he didn't have to go far. The field was huge and marvelous, with lots of different flowers everywhere.

Cerbi started to pick the flowers into his basket when he noticed that a brightly-colored little bird was watching him. The bird flew to him and said:

"These flowers are so beautiful, and I see that you want to pick a lot of them. But you must know that when you do, you hurt them. So please don't pick all the flowers, pick only a few!"

Cerbi felt ashamed and he regretted having picked those flowers so greedily.

"I'm sorry, you're right, I don't pick more, for if I were a flower, I wouldn't want to be pulled out of the soil, either."

The bird became happy when he heard Cerbi, and suggested him that they should discovered the field together, but very carefully, not to trample down the flowers.

They walked all along the field, they also found a lake next to it with lots of fish.

When they finished, Cerbi said goodbye to the bird and went home.

He told the others that he had met a little bird and also told them not to pick the flowers.
